Location

Marrakech is a captivating destination where design, architecture, and food come together in a vibrant fusion of tradition and modernity. The city’s stunning riads, intricate tilework, and iconic architecture  showcase its rich heritage, while contemporary design thrives in galleries, boutiques, and YSL’s celebrated Jardin Majorelle.  Whether exploring its historic sites, discovering local craftsmanship, or savouring its flavours, Marrakech offers a feast for the senses and a true design lover’s paradise.

Cuisine

Marrakech’s food scene is equally vibrant and a reflection of its rich cultural heritage, offering a sensory journey through spices, flavours, and textures. The city is famous for its tagines—slow-cooked stews with tender meats, vegetables, and dried fruits, often infused with aromatic spices like saffron, cumin, and cinnamon. Couscous, a traditional staple, is often served on Fridays, accompanied by stews and vegetables.

Cook a feast with our chefs in your hands-on cooking class.  With our food expert, wander through the Jemaa el-Fnaa square and eat your way through the food stalls.

Marrakech’s markets are a treasure trove of spices, olives, and fresh produce, while high-end restaurants and rooftop terraces offer modern takes on Moroccan classics, paired with stunning views of the city. Whether it’s street food or fine dining, Marrakech’s culinary landscape is a celebration of Moroccan tradition and creativity.

Happy guests…

Marrakech as it all

“Our time in Marrakech was absolutely unforgettable! The private guided tours  gave us a fantastic insider view of this city.   Loved meeting designers and artisans and bringing home so many treasures (the carpets! the lamps!).  Huge highlight was visiting YSL’s former home.  It was a splurge but so worth it and hugely inspired by the interiors and colours, just exquisite!   The cooking course was great too —learning to make a traditional tagine was both fun and delicious and can’t wait to recreate at home for a Moroccan-inspired dinner party.

El Fenn was a great place to base ourselves.   Loved that each of us had a different room, the jury is still out whether the pink, green or black room was the best!

All in all, a perfect mix of design, food, and culture—Marrakech truly has it all!

What happy guests said about this tour…

  • Delicious, different and engaging - Thank you so much for organising a fantastic 3-day break in Beijing. Even though we actually live in China, it was very insightful and we discovered many hidden gems we would never have found in guidebooks.

    Claire S., Shanghai, China
  • Best way to see Beijing - This was the perfect introduction to China and best way to see this vibrant city. Loved making dumplings in a charming Hutong and sharing stories with locals. Felt like a real insider.
