Accommodation

We will choose from our many stunning partner hotels, depending on your budget and preference.  Here are some examples of our favourites:

Cape Town

In Cape Town, check into Ellerman House and prepare for instant admiration. This intimate boutique hotel overlooks the Atlantic with sweeping views, exquisite cuisine, and one of the finest wine collections in South Africa. Stylish, discreet, and effortlessly luxurious, Ellerman House perfectly blends art, comfort, and a true sense of place.

Winelands

At first glance, this charming Cape Dutch farmhouse feels every bit the 17th-century estate it once was — but step inside and you’ll find a beautifully reimagined retreat that’s both timeless and refreshingly modern. Still a working farm, Babylonstoren embodies a relaxed, understated kind of luxury. With 33 rooms spread across elegant suites, cozy cottages, and the historic Manor House, it’s a serene escape where guests can unwind, explore the gardens, and savour the simple pleasures of farm life just beyond the city.

On Safari

You’re in for something truly special here. Set on 70,000 acres of breathtaking wilderness spanning four distinct biomes, Samara Private Game Reserve captures the astonishing beauty and diversity that make South Africa so unforgettable. Choose between two luxurious lodges — The Manor, perfect for families and groups, or Karoo Lodge, a romantic 1800s homestead lovingly restored. Spend your days exploring vast plains on foot or by jeep with expert rangers, and your nights unwinding in quiet, elegant comfort under endless African skies.

Dates

South Africa is a year-round destination, but the ideal time depends on your plans.

For safaris, go from May to September when wildlife viewing is at its best. Cape Town and the Winelands shine from October to April with warm, sunny days. Visit between August and October for wildflowers, or June to November for whale watching.

For a perfect mix of everything, March–April and September–October are ideal.

Our suggested itinerary is based on 8 – 12 days and can be entirely tailor-made according to your preferences.

Prices

All of our itineraries are tailor-made and prices are upon request, according to your preferences and budget.

Happy guests…

Serious crush on South Africa

“This trip completely blew us away. From cooking with the chefs in Cape Town in to sipping wines in Franschhoek, every day felt like a new discovery. We loved how you mixed fancy dinners with down-to-earth food experiences — like learning to braai in the bush and tasting fresh oysters right by the ocean. It never felt touristy, just really personal and fun.

The highlight was ending on safari — sipping sundowners as elephants wandered past and enjoying dinners under the stars.  Our guides were 5*.

We came home with a few extra kilos and a serious crush on South Africa!   Can’t wait to be back for another adventure!”

What happy guests said about this tour…

  • Delicious, different and engaging - Thank you so much for organising a fantastic 3-day break in Beijing. Even though we actually live in China, it was very insightful and we discovered many hidden gems we would never have found in guidebooks.

    Claire S., Shanghai, China
  • Best way to see Beijing - This was the perfect introduction to China and best way to see this vibrant city. Loved making dumplings in a charming Hutong and sharing stories with locals. Felt like a real insider.
